A car containing five people crashed into a tree on the A47 yesterday evening.The vehicle left the road between the village of Wardley and Uppingham shortly before 7.30pm.Four people managed to get out of the car. But the fire service had to release one of the occupants.They were treated by the ambulance service.The extent of the victim's injuries are not known.A fire service spokesman said four of the people managed to get out of the vehicle by themselves.
