Motorists faced delays after a car hit a lamppost and overturned on a motorway slip road today.Firefighters were called at 11.45am after the car hit the lamppost which then fell onto the carriageway of the slip road onto the southbound carriageway of the M1 at junction 23A.One person from the car, which ended up on its roof, was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.Two lanes of the three-lane slip road from the A42 were blocked until 3pm when all three lanes were clear.Fire...
