Two women have been rescued and then taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash near Oakham today.The incident happened at about 3.30pm in Whissendine Road, Ashwell, Oakham.One crew from Oakham and another from Stamford fire station were called to the scene. The two casualties have been taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary by ambulance. Details about their injuries have not been released.The fire service left the scene shortly after 4.15pm.
